Purchased From This Site: Yes
As far as I am concerned, the ammo dose not get any better than this stuff for awesome penetration and self defense round. However, for the urban setting I would still stick with Speer Gold Dot 9mm +P 124gr HP, but I would have at least one mag with the Corbon DPX if needing to penetrate a car door (or other). Otherwise, it is Corbon DPX for rural settings. Obviously, as most professionals; shoot both and get familar with each concerning pro/cons. Bottom line, if there were only two choices to survive on, these two would be mine 5 stars for both.
Now for the Gun Source eval:
Overall 3 stars, I was not happy how the following occured.
The same time I ordered this ammo, I had been going back and forth on various web sites debating which one to go with to also purchase the iTac 700lumen pistol grip light/laser. I finally decided to go with Gun Source since the price of the Corbon DPX and iTac grip were decent and in stock. The site indicated 1 left concerning the grip. So I ordered the items about midnight and was not able to call since it was too late. Anyway, I had to find out on my own the iTac 700 lumen grip was not in stock. And, the reason given was; someone must have ordered it at the same time I ordered it at midnight. Enough said. Granted I probably should have pulled the trigger earlier and confirmed the item in stock plus ordered it on the spot over the phone if necessary, although that is usually a last resort for me unless I''m on a secured line. Strongly recommend Corbon DPX TR +P in any caliber. I also have a couple of mags loaded up at all times with DPX for my Rob Arms 7.62x39mm,and 5.56''s and the rest of my 9mm''s. Of course, living in the country my Mossberg 500 Pursuader is usually within easy reach with 8/9 pellet 00 buck and LE Round Ball 2x.650 RB on the receiver shot shell holder.
