A black powder coated stainless-steel is used so the Ka-Bar knife is amazing in any type of weather, rust and corrosion will no longer be a problem. The drop point tip of the Ka-Bar blade enhances piercing and stabbing due to the razor sharp quality. Ka-Bar includes a hard plastic friction sheath with a black cord for easy carrying.

I bought as a defensive knife and to open boxes at work. Came pretty sharp, not like a kershaw leek but still plenty sharp. After sharpening all I can describe it as is like a razor. I used a professional sharpener that you can set the angle you want so results may vary. I also wrapped grip up in paracord, now it feels secure with no noticeable bulk. I will say that its the best deal for cost, which had me a little nervous. All in all perfect knife for self defense where size of blade is important read limited ]example Atlanta[.

Sharp as the devil''s horns and so slim and small that you don''t even realize it''s in your pocket. This is one of the best products I''ve ever purchased.
